Yes! You retain full ownership of your video. Jukin is not buying ownership of your video, only the rights to represent and manage your video on your behalf.

What will Jukin do with my video?

Distribute: We have licensing professionals around the globe that proactively send your video to advertising agencies, TV shows, news organizations, and digital publishers. You get paid when your video gets licensed by one of our clients. Our goal is to get your video licensed as many times as possible to maximize your revenue opportunities. Once you sign with Jukin, your video gets added to our extensive video library, where professionals from the TV, advertising, and media industries search for video clips daily. When their search criteria matches your video, they can view it and even download it directly from our database. As a result, clients routinely discover and license videos from our library months and even years after we initially partner together.
Monetize: We begin to monetize your YouTube views as soon as you sign the agreement. We will also place a claim on any unauthorized copies, ensuring only you--the rightful video owner--is making money from your video rather than any individuals who may have uploaded your video to their channel in hopes of gaining followers, shares, or royalties. How much can I expect to earn with Jukin?

It is impossible to predict how much a video will earn as there are a number of factors that influence a video's success and every client & video is unique. Licensing is a marathon and not a sprint so we focus on partnering with videos that we think have long-term potential. The longer a clip is in the library, the higher the average earnings.

How do I get paid?

You will have access to a personalized Partner Dashboard where you can track earnings and submit additional videos. Payments are distributed by Paypal, check, or bank transfer. Payments are made each month. If your earnings do not exceed $100, they are rolled over to the next month until they do.

Do I need to remove my video from my channel?

No. We encourage you to keep the video up wherever you've posted it. If you’d prefer to remove the video, you are free to do so at any time; after all, it’s still your video.

How do I submit a video?

You can submit videos either with a valid URL from social media or as a file upload to https://jukinmedia.com/licensing/video-submissions.

Can you credit my social media handle?

Jukin does not offer crediting on content licensed by our clients, however, for our Jukin-owned brand pages, we can ask our team to credit you, but we can't guarantee it in all cases.
